While fishing the backwaters, Captain Andre captains our 25 ft. Black Jack powered with a 350 H.P. Mercury. The boat is fully loaded with Radar, Satellite Weather, and Depth/Fish Finder. The boat also has twin 10 ft. Power Poles to quickly position the boat to the optimum position for the anglers to maximize their catch! The boat is equipped with a Minn-Kota iPilot Trolling Motor System with a remote control, meaning the angler can stand at the front of the boat while the captain maneuvers the boat via remote control. An over-sized fish box is built-in to the boat to hold a full-days load!
We can also target Red Snapper, Cobia, and Triple-Tail (seasonal).
Triple-tail and Cobia fishing is best from August 1st through October 31st.
Red snapper season will run weekends only (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) with a daily bag limit of three fish per person and a minimum size limit of 16 inches total length. The open season will also include the Monday of Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. The season will remain open until recreational landings approach or reach Louisiana’s annual private recreational allocation.
